OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of Eastside Church of the Nazarene is to honor and glorify God by helping people to come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. 

 

OUR MISSION

Through biblical faithfulness, we desire every person be in relationship with Jesus, to develop Christ-like disciples, and to engage our world in making a difference.

 

 

WE WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS THROUGH . . . 

 

FAITH in Jesus-inspired passion for God and a heart for people.

  • We will preach the Word of God.
  • We will pursue the heart of Jesus.
  • We will be unashamed in our love for Jesus. 
  • We will unite people through authentic displays of worship. 

 

ENGAGING our community of believers into expressions of Kingdom living.

  • We will live out a legacy of generosity.
  • We will unleash people to do ministry globally and locally.
  • We will exist to make Jesus famous.
  • We will extend a hand to the broken in order to walk with them.

 

CONNECTING with unsaved and hurting people in our community.

  • We will speak love and hope here.
  • We will be a safe and fun place for families.
  • We will use our facilities to engage the community.
  • We will make our community a better place to live.

 

DISCIPLING believers to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

  • We will maintain our holiness message while being flexible in our methods.
  • We will call people to a lifestyle of faithfulness.
